Inspiration: Leocadia dancing to Babylon

The 2020 global debacle brought a lot of grief to dancers worldwide, but one *good* thing that came out of that were the performance festivals and shows. The videos shown in the later have now started morphing into videos with high production values that allow for more focus on movement that we could never see so close at a theatre stage, and more storytelling.

One such example is this video from Leocadia. It was her offering for Gothla UK’s Bloody Valentine at the end of February. I really enjoyed her serpenting movements and the oppulent costuming, and of course as a Dead Can Dance fan, the music couldn’t be more perfect. Enjoy!
